Akademiska Damkören Lyran

The Academic Female Voice Choir Lyran, or, in (スウェーデン語:Akademiska Damkören Lyran) ((:akaˈdeːmiska ˈdaːmkœːren ˈlyːran)), often referred to as simply ''Lyran'', is a Finland-Swedish academic female-voice choir in Helsinki, Finland. It is the only female-voice choir affiliated with the University of Helsinki.
==History==

Lyran was founded in 1946 by a group of female students in Helsinki, led by Eja Tollet (''née'' Sevelius), who came to be the first conductor and artistic director of the choir.
Present conductor and artistic director M.Mus. Jutta Seppinen began her tenure in the autumn term of 2009.
Ever since 1954, the choir has collaborated extensively with the Academic Male Voice Choir of Helsinki ((スウェーデン語:Akademiska Sångföreningen)), the sole other University of Helsinki Swedish-language choir. The two choirs annually give several recurring concerts together.
